Draft NMFL competition regulations prepared

The rules for the National Minifootball League 2026 are with BMFA for approval and are not yet binding.

BMFA has prepared draft competition regulations for the National Minifootball League 2026. The draft, dated 13 October 2026, is proposed for approval and does not bind clubs until BMFA formally adopts and circulates it.

The draft sets sixteen clubs in two city divisions, Dhaka and Chattogram, each playing a single round-robin. The top four from each division go through to an eight-team national stage.

Playing law follows the WMF Rules of the Game: six players a side including a goalkeeper, with two 25-minute halves proposed. BMFA keeps sole authority over the domestic competition, including discipline and appeals.
